The battery set serves as a voltage source, especially to glow through resistance wires. The voltage can be increased in steps from 6 V to 36 V by connecting the batteries in series. Corresponding connection cables and alligator clips are included in the set.
A detailed instruction booklet with exercises on the relationship between voltage, current and resistance is part of the delivery.
Safety note: Resistance wires may only be annealed over a base plate, which is not included in the set.
In addition, the batteries may only be connected or disconnected when no current is flowing (RiSU I - 11.7). We recommend using the circuit breaker.
