Description

Melting tests with wax can replace the no longer permitted melting tests with bar solder.
The experiment can show both the decrease in volume as the wax solidifies and different flow forms of the liquid wax on an inclined board. Depending on the temperature, dynamic vortex forms develop or the wax begins to solidify as it flows off. The solidified wax can then be peeled off as a soft wax or broken away as a brittle wax.
